Rescue FAQs

We are a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to rescuing, fostering and finding permanent loving homes for as many abandoned, homeless, and stray animals as we can. Texas has comparitively higher number of homeless pets than other US States. Most of our pets live in foster homes before they are available for adoption to ensure they are healthy, socialized, and ready to become a part of your family. All of our pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and given a flea preventative before they are available for adoption. Cats and kittens are also tested for feline leukemia and the feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and must be negative to enter the adoption program. You can meet our cats every Saturday and Sunday at 2902 S Shepherd Dr, Houston, TX, 77098, from 11:30-4pm, or reach out to us directly if you're interested in a specific cat!

Additional adoption info

All of our pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and given a flea preventative before they are available for adoption. Cats and kittens are also tested for feline leukemia (FELV) and the feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and must be negative to enter the adoption program.

Our adoption fee of $125 for adult cats and kittens covers only a small fraction of the cost of rescuing, rehabilitating, and housing these homeless animals. Donations help us to provide veterinary care, medicine, vaccinations, food, kitty litter, and other supplies, so that the only limit on our foster caregivers is the size of their homes – not the size of their pocketbooks.
