Rescue FAQs

We are a foster based rescue. We do not have a shelter. When pets are rescued from the streets of Detroit or bad situations, they are kept in foster homes. We take pride in being able to give these dogs a second chance at life being loved by a family. All dogs 6 months and older are altered prior to adoption. Puppies will be adopted on contact and must be fixed by the adopter prior to the puppy turning 6 months old.

Additional adoption info

Adoption Application https://goo.gl/forms/kJdeRAXBqHRUbMKD3

Potential adopters are required to fill out an adoption application. We will call your vet and personal references, visit your home etc. Adopters will fill out a contract at the time of adoption.

We do not place dogs into homes with unaltered pets. All resident animals must be fixed unless there is medical documentation saying they cannot be.

If you rent, we must have it in writing that you can house the pet in question.
