Rescue FAQs

A Rescue Tail, Inc is an all volunteer organization new to Middle Georgia. We believe that every animal deserves a chance to live in a loving home, cared for and cherished. Our team strives to assist every pet, their owners, and potential adoptive families. We believe that by helping people, we can provide a better life for animals in need.
A Rescue Tail, Inc. serves all of Georgia

Additional adoption info

Puppy adoption- $300.00, all animals are fully vetted- spay/neuter, 3 rounds of vaccinations, dewormed, up to date on preventatives, microchipped and parvo tested.

Adult dog adoption- $225, all dogs are fully vetted (as above), including heartworm test and treatment if needed.

Kitten adoptions-$150.00, all cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and combo tested.

Cat adoptions-$100.00, all cats are fully vetted and combo tested (as above)

***A Rescue Tail does not perform cosmetic body modifications, or declawing.

Each adoptive family revieces a welcome packet, and gift bag for your new pet to get you started on the right foot.

ART requires an adoption application be completed. Once approved, we schedule a home check. Following completion of the home check, we set up a meet and greet for your perspective family member.
ART is a best match facility, meaning, we strive to pair animals with the perfect living situation. We do ask that for dogs, a training course be completed.
