Additional adoption info

Our adoption process includes filling out an application, having a meet and greet with the dog of interest, completing a home check, and calling for a vet reference. If a home check is not feasible, we will accept pictures of the home environment. Once all of this has been completed, and the interested party is approved for adoption, we collect the adoption contract and adoption fee.

Our fee covers any vet visits, medication necessary to the health of the dog, and a spay/neuter voucher good for our local vet. Adoption fees start at $150. Dogs under 1 year are $250. Fees can be more based on age and breed of dog being considered for adoption.

Please note that it may take a couple of days to hear back from someone as we have to take time to read through your application and inquiries.

Donations can be made directly on our webpage at: www.misplacedmutts.com You can also access our donation button through our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/Misplacedmutts/
