Rescue FAQs

C.C.P.A.L. seeks to reduce the enormous problem of pet overpopulation in Bandera County We promote low-cost spay/neuter programs; advise on basic health care & proper shelter for pets & offer excellent dog obedience classes several times each year. Since 2002, CCPAL has rescued nearly 5,000 animals. We are in constant need of foster homes for these pets until we find them homes. Our pets are in kennels on an acreage in Texas. We can use a transporter to get them outside of Texas if we find a great home.
We can serve Texas and the surrounding areas, We can get dogs to the East Coast on a ground transport or to the West Coast namely Washington via ground or air transport,

Additional adoption info

You would fill out an application and we will call your references and your veterinarian. We will also run a criminal background check. Once completed and approved you would speak to Troy the kennel manager and get all the additional specifics on the dog you are interested in adopting. Once completed we will be ready for you to take your new family member home.
