Rescue FAQs
Purrfect Match, Inc. is an all volunteer, non-profit 501(c)(3), no-kill cat rescue. We partner with local kill shelters to save homeless cats and kittens that may otherwise be euthanized. All of our cats and kittens are placed in loving foster homes where they receive the care needed before being matched with their forever home.
It is our goal to find the purrfect match for each of our cats. Before becoming available for adoption our cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age appropriate), tested for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, and microchipped. Purrfect Match, Inc. is funded exclusively through donations from the community. We receive no municipal, state, or federal funding. Adoption steps
- Submit Application
- Email us at purrfectmatchinc@gmail.com for an application.
- Interview
- Once your application has been received, we will process your application. We will then contact you for a phone interview.
- Meet the Pet
- Meet and Greets take place in our foster homes and/or in your home. See "Come Meet our Pets" below for additional information.
Additional adoption info
If you rent, we require proof that you are allowed to have pets and how many. Veterinary information is required, as we do vet checks. If you do not currently have pets, please provide the name of your previous vet and previous pets on the application. Make sure to indicate they are past pets.
