Shelter FAQs

The Iberville Shelter and Animal Control collects several animals weekly, with most of them being friendly and adoptable. Our main goals are to decrease the number of animals euthanized, help reunite lost pets with their owners, find forever homes for the animals in our care and control the population of animals within Iberville parish. Our Mission Statement: Iberville Parish Council Shelter and Animal Control is committed to our community and their animals, striving to educate and enforce proper animal welfare and state laws.
The entirety of Iberville Parish.

Additional adoption info

Upon adoption, all animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. Our adoption fee for dogs is $100, cats $30, and kittens $50.

We require you fill out an adoption application for review. IPAS will adopt out animals the same day as inquiries with animals that are ready for their forever homes.
