Haven Paws Dog Rescue is a 501(c)3 NONPROFIT Organization in Horry County, SC. We are solely foster based with no brick n motor- appointments are required to meet our adoptable dogs/Puppies.
HPDR has focused on pulling dogs from High Kill Shelters in both South Carolina and North Carolina to give them a second chance at life.
We do this with a strong goal in mind- Be different, Be more, Be a voice, a movement and a safe haven to allow those of abuse and neglect to finally know what love and loyalty is all about.

Adoption steps
- Submit ApplicationIF approved - Phone interview to follow to discuss what dog or puppy you are interested in / would be ideal for your wants in a companion
- InterviewWe will review over information and discuss further steps with you at this time. Meet and greet will be scheduled with pup / dog of interest
- Sign Adoption ContractAdoption contract is not up for discussion. ALL adopters must read and sign our contract to be able to adopt from us.
- Pay FeeALL adoption fee's are NON Refundable as we are a NON PROFIT rescue. Adoption fee's help us provide for others in our care.
- Take the Pet HomeOnce everything is completed and fee's are paid, you will be able to bring your fur baby home!
Additional adoption info
All adopters must complete our steps in order to be considered for adoption. The minimum age we will adopt is 23 years old. Background checks are required to be considered as well.
