My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Champ is a very energetic and happy dog. He is between 12-14 months of age and is now looking for his furever home. He came to us on September 10th when he was found by city workers on the side of the road at deaths door. September 11 he came into my home as a foster and went from 18.2 pounds to almost 50 pounds now. Champ has made a full recovery and is healthy, however x-rays show that as he gets older he is at risk of having hip dysplasia. He is house and crate trained, but does have a bit of separation anxiety. He is friendly and loving to everyone he meets. Good with other dogs and cats, however the pup in him comes out and he likes to pounce around right now. He needs to have someone who has patience and lots of love to give. He is heart-worm negative and up to date on shots.Champ is good with older children (12 and up) however we are unsure about younger children (under 12). *This dog is lovingly fostered in his home state of Mississippi.
