Chip's Story...
Chip is an adorable and extremely playful, six-month-old, 20-pound, male, black and white Wire-Haired Jack Russell Terrier-mix looking for a loving guardian. Chip is a long, short, scruffy, fun-loving and very friendly boy who was found wandering on his own in a small town in Robinson, Illinois. Chip is all terrier … outgoing, social and very playful. He will be best suited for an active family willing to train and exercise a high energy puppy. Chip is currently living in a foster home in Chicago where he is doing well. He enjoys the company of people of all ages and is full of tail wags and kisses. He’s great with other dogs but will greet them with his signature terrier greeting. To meet and possibly adopt Chip, please contact Samantha at palsplace1@hotmail.com or 773-615-9864. His adoption fee of $350 benefits the rescued dogs of Pal’s Place. He is healthy, neutered, de-wormed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, and tested for heartworm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chip, a Chicago Jack Russell Terrier/Wirehaired Fox Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Wirehaired Fox Terrier for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Wirehaired Fox Terrier puppy from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Wirehaired Fox Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Wirehaired Fox Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
