Ricky's Story...
Ricky: 7 year old pomeranian; 10 lbs; great with dogs, people, kids Not potty trained. Fee $175

Ricky is a uniquely colored and handsome gray pomeranian with white-tipped ears; he looks like a little arctic fox with his pert nose, pointy ears, bright eyes and bushy tail. He's never met a stranger and loves make friends with every dog and person he meets. He's outgoing and social and vivacious. When Ricky wants attention or a treat, he sits up and claps his front paws together; now who can resist that? Despite being 7 years old, Ricky enjoys keeping busy and staying active. He thrives in a busy environment since he gets bored easily. He does relish cuddling and being held but gets bored easily if left to his own devices. He's very curious and has a keen intelligence so likes to run and explore; he's quite the adventurer! Because of this, Ricky is a bit of an escaper and, if given a chance, will be off meandering around the neighborhood - he thinks this is great fun! Let us know if you'd like to make Ricky part of your family! His adoption fee is $175; he's neutered, microchipped and current on vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ricky, a Indianapolis Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Indianapolis, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Indianapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Indianapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Indianapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Indianapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
