Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This adorable little lady is Blossom. Blossom is a 6 month old terrier pup that had the unfortunate luck of falling into the wrong hands. It seems that when Blossom's family no longer wanted her, they tossed her out of the window of a moving vehicle in a park in Newark. Luckily there were witnesses present and our AHS Newark facility was called right away to retrieve the frightened pup. She was taken straight to an emergency hospital and thank goodness, did not have any broken bones. Blossom spent several weeks in the medical department of our Newark facility and was treated for demodex mange, as seen in her first picture. The poor girl lost most of her hair but with lots of good care and TLC by our Newark staff, little Blossom blossomed back into a beautiful, happy little girl. She is now with us at Popcorn Park and is ready to start over with a family that will love and care for her forever. Blossom is a loving and affectionate little pup that just adores everyone she meets. She is extremely friendly and doesn't hold her unfortunate experience against anyone. She is playful and fun loving, and really enjoyed herself in our giant exercise yard. This little girl can run like the wind and just wants to have fun! Blossom will need some basic training since she is still a puppy, but she's well behaved and is a fast learner. Blossom has some orthopedic issues and anyone that is seriously interested in adopting Blossom will need to speak with our veterinarian after meeting her. Blossom gets along with other dogs and would prefer a home with no small children under the age of 10. This little lady is so deserving of a fresh start in life with a family that will never toss her away again. File#23239 1/13/14
