Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This tiny fella is Peanut! He weighs a whopping 4 lbs! He's a Rat Terrier that was used for breeding for his 7 years of life. He lived outside in a pen in all kinds of weather and with very little human contact. He came to a shelter when his owners were finished using him, full of fleas and very bad teeth. It breaks your heart to see how shy he is BUT he is starting to trust more and more each day thanks to the love of his foster Mom and all of her little dogs! She thinks with time, love, and patience he will be a wonderful little lap dog able to enjoy life -- FINALLY!
K-9 New Life will have him neutered and his dental work done in a couple of weeks so he will be feeling better soon. He is up-to-date on his shots, dewormed, and has no more fleas! Yippee! Things are looking up!
If you're interested in giving Peanut his dream life, please let us know you'd like to meet him!
