My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What a lousy photo of me! I am so darling, but who can discern this by what looks to be a mug shot with me incarcerated?! Yet, what is true is that I so want a forever home---- a home where I can be free to love and be loved!! I am a young girl, estimated to be about 11/2 years and 15 pounds. My rescuer thinks that I am a wire- haired terrier of sorts. I do shed a little, so if you have allergies, I may not be the right dog for you. Nevertheless, my white coat is beautiful and will even be fuller and glossier once I am eating a more nutritious diet and getting some exercise!! I look somewhat like an arctic fox with ears that stand up, a pointed nose and a longer, semi- bushy tail. My face should be a little scruffier when allowed to grow, but someone recently shaved my face for an unknown reason...

My rescuer believes that I have been in several different homes, the last being a residential hotel with two very young children. Well, that is not quite true. I have recently enjoyed spending time with my foster family. I have gotten along quite well with their children, others dogs and cats. Having lots of energy and curiosity for all activities, I enjoy walks and would even like to try some hiking in the mountains or foothills of Colorado. My enthusiasm has no bounds; sometimes I show this by vocalizing. But, I can also be calm and very affectionate! I like to give puppy kisses.
My rescuer believes that I could be an integral part of a family with children of any age or be equally adaptable with a middle aged couple. I just want to be loved for the duration of my life and know that never again must I worry about having to adapt to multiple and unfamiliar situations. My rescuer thinks that I am a very adaptable and pleasantly self- confident girl, but, I am ready for permanency and stability in my life! My love and loyalty will be unswerving!
