The staff at Farfel's had the joy of spending time with Jovie the Lhasa/Maltese...This was so much fun for us! She is the most loving 8 month old pup we know with a happy wag that starts at the tip of her tail and ends up in a huge smile. She greeted our store dogs with a grin and a prance..it was as if she had spent her whole 8- month life on busy Pearl Street with many dogs and their people passing by. It's truly a tribute to Jovey's human mom that this pup is incredibly well-adjusted and well-trained. She is completely housetrained and sleeps in her crate overnight without a peep. Jovey has graduated from puppy socialization class & Obedience I with our favorite Boulder positive reinforcement trainer, Gigi Moss (gigimoss.com). The decision to give Jovey up is very difficult for her mom...it's because she cares so much for her 13-year old dog who can no longer deal with a playful puppy. Jovey is just a normal 8-month old who loves to run and play. She's so adorable and so perfect that you just want to scoop her up and kiss her (which we did!) Her non-shedding hair is so soft with that puppy smell that you just want to kiss her all the more! Jovie deserves a truly special home that will love her as a best friend and constant companion. She has attended doggie day care and has a blast! She plays with every available dog with very appropriate puppy energy. She also can calm down and snuggle and cuddle when it's time to do so. She would be perfect to take anywhere and has great behavior everywhere she goes...with the skills she's learned through training, she always wants to please and becomes very bonded to those who are kind to her. Jovie would be perfect with all children but our preference is older kids who will be respectful of a 10 lb pup. She'd also be perfect for retirees who are searching for a furry companion who is appropriate in any dog-friendly situation. Jovey also loves to play with other dogs who are appropriate and play in a positive way...she's very outgoing and friendly! Jovie is a non-shedder who will require periodic grooming and great nutrition to keep her coat cotton-soft and matt-free.
