My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We all know how we get that awww feeling when we see an adorable young puppy. They're so new and fresh with every possibility open to them. That's the case unless they're in a high-kill shelter that quickly runs out of space. We're so grateful for the efforts of our great Oklahoma rescuer in saving Mandy...she could see that her temperament was so loving and calm that she couldn't allow her to be euthanized. Mandy was immediately brought to be vetted and temperament tested...she passed both with flying colors and was brought to a great OKC foster home to begin her education around house manners and socialization. It turns out that Mandy, at only 3 months old and 5 lbs (anticipated to be just about 8-10 lbs when full-grown), is so calm, yet so engaging and cooperative that it's been a fun & rewarding experience for her foster mom. She's like a blank slate...open and curious about everything around her. Mandy has a very engaging and self-confident (while initially could be a bit shy) personality. She wants to bond and is open to all possibilities with her loving demeanor. If Mandy is given the gift of socialization... experiencing humans and dogs while she's out & about around town.... she will be a well-adjusted adult dog that will be confident without anxiety. We suggest puppy socialization classes for all pups followed by Obedience I to promote positive relationships with other dogs & bonding with her people. Mandy is a gorgeous puppy with a shining coat that speaks of good health. Her calm yet curious & snuggly demeanor is just who she is. If you pass her cuddle & play test, Mandy is your best friend and is very interested in some serious bonding. If she is treated kindly with clear behavioral guidelines, she will become a well-adjusted pup who respects her people as her leaders... this is the kind of family we're searching for for Mandy. When full-grown, Mandy has the great temperament to be comfortable in the community and can therefore accompany her family just about anywhere. Mandy may be arriving in Denver unfixed due to her very young age...Farfel's will be happy to cover all costs in regard to Mandy's spay, microchip and any additional puppy shots she might require upon her arrival in Denver. We can't determine at this point if Mandy is a shedding girl. If she is..it will be very light and can be controlled with frequent baths and brushing.
Mandy will be arriving on transport in Denver on 3/8. Applications are currently being accepted for this adorable and lovable puppy.
