Please Share ... Ray the Shih Tzu Needs a Loving Home

Ray is a handsome and sweet, lovable and playful, three-year-old, 27.8 pound, male Shih Tzu looking for a loving guardian. Ray landed at Chicago Animal Care and Control as a chubby, matted stray… so it’s obvious he wasn’t on the street for very long – but he wasn’t well-cared for. In fact, he may never have been groomed in his entire life. Luckily, he cleaned up beautifully.

Ray has an adorable under-bite that just adds to his charisma and charm. He doesn’t know any formal commands, but he can catch a treat mid-air, and will dance like a ballerina if he thinks he’ll get a reward. Ray appears to be housebroken and good with other dogs … especially small ones like himself. Ray is healthy, neutered, micro-chipped, up-to-date on vaccines, de-wormed, and heartworm-tested.
