Pink's Story...
Hi! I'm Pink!! I was rescued from a breeder, along with my mom and my six siblings. All of my siblings and my mom got adopted, and I'm the only one left. I'm about 8 weeks old, very playful, and up to date on my shots. I'm working on being housebroken, but it's hard when you're little! I promise, I'll get better at it. Right now, my vet says I'm too little to be spayed, so whoever adopts me will need to see to that. My adoption fee is $200, plus a $50 spay deposit (the deposit is refundable upon proof of spay). So what do you say? Can I come play at your house?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pink, a Hockessin Border Collie/Australian Shepherd puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd for sale in Hockessin, or seeking a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd puppy from a breeder in Hockessin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hockessin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hockessin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Border Collie/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hockessin paves the way for another one to be saved.
