Have you heard the song "HAPPY"? This is Kiah's theme song. Kiah is one of the happiest dogs you will ever meet. She just wants to be loved on. She is very eager to please. Kiah gets along with everyone she meets. She loves kids and other dogs. We aren't sure about cats though. Kiah is working on her manners, but loves to sit for a treat. She is crate and potty trained. Kiah loves to play fetch and loves to exercise, but also knows how to be mellow. If you are looking for a happy, sweet, loving family dog, she's the one for you!
If you are interested in adopting Kiah please email sln2310@yahoo.com and request an application. Once your application has been received and reviewed, you will be contacted via email or phone by one of our volunteers. After your application is approved, the foster parent for the dog you have selected will contact you to answer any questions you may have and determine if that dog is a good match for your family.
If you have no particular dog in mind, we will be happy to keep your application on file and notify you if the right dog should come into rescue. Catahoula Rescue of New England is an all-volunteer group. Dogs in our program are fostered by volunteers. The foster homes care for our dogs as if they were their own. All dogs have received vaccinations appropriate to age and are spayed or neutered.
Kiah's adoption donation is $350 which includes Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella, fecal test, heart worm test when appropriate and is on preventative, microchip, and neuter. We do not have a physical shelter, all of our dogs are fostered in individual foster homes across the New England and Canada.
