Meet Ginger! Ginger was found running the streets of Humboldt Park in Chicago with another dog, who we believe to be her sister (Mary Ann). When she was finally caught it was discovered that she sustained a very bad injury to her rear leg, which required amputation- so know she is a beautiful 3- legged sweatheart. The vet believes she is between 1-2 yrs old. She is one of the sweetest dogs ever! Ginger gets along with other dogs and we would like to see her be placed with a family with a similar sized, gentle dog or with her sister. She has a very delicate little frame with long legs, but only weighs 4.0 lbs. Ginger's adoption fee of $275 goes toward covering her vet care. Ginger is current on vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, and tested negative for heartworm and fecal parasites.
