Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Eve is an adorable, affectionate, playful, and fun, 18-month-old, female Turkish Van-mix cat with gorgeous yellow eyes looking for a loving guardian. Eve loves people and is friendly and sweet. She has a great personality and is not one to hide; in fact, Eve is quite confident. She thrills to roll with catnip toys, or chase a feather wand. She is incredibly loving; and she purrs and purrs when you pet her. She also likes to sit on your feet and look up into your eyes!
Found originally as a stray, Eve was dropped off at Chicago Animal Care and Control when her babies were only hours old. Luckily CARF volunteers were at the shelter and able to bring Eve and her family to safety immediately. Eve was a patient and loving mother to her three kittens. However, she tested positive for the Feline Leukemia virus. So, when they were six weeks old and able to be weaned, she had to say good-bye to her children who tested negative for FeLV.
She is now looking for a loving family as either the only pet, with another FeLV + cat, or with a very cat-friendly dog. She uses her litter box and cat scratcher like a good girl. She is healthy, spayed, de-wormed, up-to-date on vaccines and micro-chipped. Her adoption fee of $95 benefits CARF.
