Princess's Story...
This lovely lady is Princess, a 4 year old Rottweiler mix that came to us from our Newark facility in search of getting herself a wonderful new home. Princess had a home, but was given up by her family when because they could no longer care for her. Princess is most definitely deserving of her name......she is truly a princess and is very ladylike. She is so gentle, polite and super sweet. Princess was taught manners and she will sit nicely for you when asked, and walks very well on a leash. Princess is gentle with taking treats and really doesn't have much interest in toys, though she does love to go in our giant exercise yard and check things out. Princess is very well behaved and doesn't get riled up very often. She even lives happily and peacefully with a canine companion that she met while in our Newark facility, and the two get along great. Princess lived with children and was perfectly happy with them as well. She is just deserving of a fresh start in life and is eager to get noticed.....please come in and meet our beautiful girl, we know you'll love her! File#23416 4/3/14

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Princess, a Forked River Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Forked River, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Forked River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forked River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forked River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forked River paves the way for another one to be saved.
