This adorable little guy is Max, a 3 year old poodle that came to us from our Newark facility in search of a wonderful home of his own. Max had a home, but when the landlord said "no pets", he was given up by his family. This tiny guy kept in good spirits and began his search for that special someone that would give him the forever home that he's been dreaming of. Max is such a little doll. He's a bit shy when he first meets new people but once he does the sniff-check and realizes that you're ok, he'll be your best friend. Max is an easy-going guy that is very mellow and well behaved. He walks very well on a leash and has excellent manners. He enjoys going for leisurely strolls and checking out the world around him and when he's in our exercise yard, he prefers to casually stroll around, rather than running and playing since he doesn't seem to have much interest in toys. Max is super sweet and doesn't seem to mind other dogs either. This little guy would make a wonderful addition to any loving, caring family that would cherish him forever. File#23444 4/16/14
