Maggie's Story...
Maggie is a sweet little tuxedo kitty and full of kitten energy. Lovely to look at and a hoot to watch! Curiosity is built-in and everything is new and exciting, and ready to be explored! Maggie’s daily schedule goes like this: Play, have fun, eat, sleep and play some more. Life doesn’t get much better than this, except to be able to share it with you!

She is having the time of her life with her kitten friend, Lucy. They would love to stay together if possible. Please check out Lucy on this site, too.

You could have TWO much fun and TWO much love with Maggie and Lucy.

All Jake’s Place cats available for adoption are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLV and are microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maggie, a Novato Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Novato, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Novato.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Novato already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Novato breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Novato paves the way for another one to be saved.
