Barely to believe but true that Patchula's former owner performed the cruelty to throw out this beautiful little kitty - not even a year old - and moved away. After waiting for weeks for the return of her parents and desperate for food, little Patchula migrated to the garden of newly moved in next door neighbors who had a shed where she could find shelter and food. These kind people were desperate to find her a home but with no success and unable to take her in because of their own cat. Of course Patchula was not spayed, already pregnant and delivered 5 beautiful kittens she cared for. It was clear something needed to be done and we were contacted to help. While the kittens could be brought immediately under veterinarian care to get adopted, Patchula seemed a bit too shy - and we went into action to find a foster home for her where she can feel safe, remember the good times inside and blossom to a beautiful young teenager. She was just weaned out from her kittens, got spayed, vaccinated with all shots, dewormed and deflead and tested negative for FIV and FELV.
She is in recovery right now but even despite all these scary circumstances she opens her big brave heart to her Foster Mom, get comfy under gentle petting and assures her with a deep purr that she feels finally safe. She also loves other purry friends and goes along well with the resident cat in her foster home. As a brave survivor outside, Patchula has her own will where she wants to go and explore and will let you know when the time is right for you to join her on her trip, She loves attention and will always call you to be ensured she is still loved. She will be a great companion for someone who is looking for a very affectionate kitty with a great personality to communicate!
