Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Spike is a hunky, four-year-old, 75-pound, male American Bulldog looking for a loving guardian.
Spike has a head the size of a bowling ball. He was dropped off at Chicago Animal Care and Control when his family couldn’t take care of him anymore. Spike loves belly rubs and snuggles. He loves to follow his people around the house, and he loves to play fetch. He also loves his squeaky toys.
Spike is perfectly housebroken and will sit for a treat. He is friendly with most other dogs. And, he’s also good in the car and loves to go on his three walks a day. Spike can be stubborn and lazy and if he doesn’t want to budge, he’ll let you know. He’ll also guard his toys if he doesn’t feel like sharing. He’s in the process of learning to trade for a treat.
If you are interested in meeting and possibly fostering or adopting Spike, please fill in an on-line adoption application at http://www.lovinliferescue.org/adoption/application.php and follow up by contacting Linda at linda@lovinliferescue.org or 312-636-1200. His adoption fee of $250 benefits Lovin’ Life Rescue. Spike is very healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm-tested, and micro-chipped.
