My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What a stunning girl Moira is! This 2.5 - 3 year old, 10 lb Norfolk Terrier/Yorkie mix (or so we've been told) has the most beautiful face ever...gorgeous soft and sweet eyes framed by her so-cute scruffy, wire-haired coat. Her striking adorable ways and super-sweet demeanor attract friends everywhere she goes...but her heart really lies with her family. That family can consist of humans as well as gentle like-sized dogs to play with and enjoy. Moira would love nothing more than to be the pup that goes everywhere with her people....walking, car rides, the park or window shopping would suit this girl. She's so portable that you can easily scoop her up, tuck her under your arm and be on your way. She also fits perfectly into a carrier to be a companion on a plane ride to a favorite vacation spot. She's so pleasant to spend time with that she would be a low-maintenance companion to take along just about anywhere. Moira is also very respectful in the house...she hasn't had accidents (or maybe 1 or 2 in her first days in her foster home until she acclimated) or destroyed any personal property ...she wouldn't consider that because she only wants to please. Moira walks well on a leash and enjoys her time outdoors in the sunshine...new adventures are always fun and exciting to Moira. We envision Moira in a home with retirees...it's not that she doesn't like kids but more that a quiet environment and a lap that's available for snuggling would truly speak to this devoted pup. We feel that Moira would thrive on being a family member that assumes a best-friend role within the household. She's always so willing and would assume her spot in the car (she loves that) for everything from just running errands to to an exciting dog-friendly fun time. Moira is a devoted companion and will love her new family members with all her heart. She will be there to cuddle, keep you company and be a truly best friend.
Moira is a non-shedding girl (or perhaps a hair or 2 will be on a black sweater) that will require periodic baths/brushing and great nutrition to keep her coat healthy and matt-free. We don't suggest Moira with those who have severe allergy concerns.
Moira is arriving on transport in Denver on 7/11. Applications are currently being accepted for this sweet and kind companion. Apps can be found at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/ and emailed to farfelsapps@gmail.com.
