Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Some of us are born with a special passion in our hearts. Such was the case for Phoebe's rescuer...a new college graduate who wanted to put her energies into a worthwhile endeavor. She wanted to begin to right the wrongs she became aware of in the world of puppy mills. Becca didn't just talk about her dreams...she drove from Colorado to Missouri to attend an auction to save as many lives as possible. The dogs Becca saved all had 1 thing in common...they would be spending their lives in wire cages, and when their breeding years were over, they would be killed. The shock was the complete lack of compassion for these little beings...they were nothing more than a means to an end for a greedy and heartless group.
Jacques looked up fearfully with his expressive eyes as the bidding started that would direct the rest of her life. Luck was with him on that fateful day...she was going home with Becca! The handsome purebred poodle, Jacques, became a part of Farfel's Rescue in Boulder, CO to find his forever family.
The perfect home for Jacques is a very quiet and predictable environment. We think he would be a gift for a retiree who doesn't require immediate gratification...but will allow a relationship to grow slowly and naturally. With time, Jacques will feel safe to show the love that lives inside of him. As this friendship blossoms, Jacques will be a best friend who will return devotion and loyalty a thousand times over.
Jacques is a non-shedding dog and will therefore require great nutrition and periodic grooming to keep her stunning coat healthy and matt-free.
Jacques is being fostered in Denver, CO. Applications are currently being accepted and Meet and Greets are being set up for this exceptional pup who will be a best friend and lap-dog extraordinaire to a lucky family.
