My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Tazwell, but I answer to Taz. My person couldn't take care of me anymore, so she gave me to Chihuahua Rescue. They want to help me find a new forever home! I'm cute, if I do say so myself, and the sweetest little guy you'll ever meet! I LOVE hanging out with my person - lap sitting is the best, but I'll settle for being next to you on the couch or the chair. I'm OK in a crate, though I don't love it. My house training is reliable and I get on well with the other dogs here at my foster's house. I'm a little bit scared of the cat though she pretty much ignores me. My "special needs" thing? I broke my left front leg last year. It didn't heal well, which is pretty common in little bitty dogs. So I have this wonky looking leg. The nice doggie doctor is giving me some laser treatments to help more bone grow so that the leg will be stronger and not so bendy where it shouldn't be. But I run, jump and play just fine now. I'm just 2 1/2 years old, and a tiny 5 lbs, so I should be in a calm household with maybe just one or 2 other friendly dogs. Kids need to be older because I am delicate and easy to break. My adoption fee is only $250.
