Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dozer is a 3 1/2 year old, neutered, "special needs" Rottie. When we 1st saw him @ 9 mos old, he was slightly limping due to conformation issues with his rear legs. As predicted, this progressed to the point of needing surgery, which his owner could not afford. We have taken care of the surgery and Dozer now needs a special home for his continued recovery. He is doing well putting weight on his leg and starting to rebuild the muscle he has lost post-surgery. He is currently scheduled for a round of water therapy. He needs someone who is committed to continuing exercise, etc. to aid in his recovery.
Dozer is loving, mindful, housebroken, and walks well on-leash. He is quiet and calm for the most part and gets along fine with most other dogs and cats. Squeakies, stuffed animals, and chewies can keep him occupied for long periods of time.
Dozer will need to have quality food and be on a joint supplement for life. We have a booklet available that describes the surgery he had and the exercise requirements for his recovery. Due to his leg issues, Dozer needs a home with no small kids. For more info on Dozer please ask for Mike or Susie when you call or email us at: susie.scott.warner@gmail.com
