Sousa's Info...

I am already neutered and up to date with shots.

Sousa's Story...
The tiniest brown tabby with the biggest personality. All you have to do is kneel down and he will jump on your thighs for attention. He is a lover and will take your lap as long as you will give it. He also follows you around and will seek you out on purpose for lovies. He is also quite playful and will be aggressive at times, but could really go either way - he would need to be adopted with another kitty that doesn't mind sharing the spotlight with more light on him ;) He is super sweet and will be great for someone that wants a "needy" cat. I don't mean it in a bad way, but I just don't see him happy in a home with someone gone all the time or not very affectionate. He is not a loner and I think he would get depressed. He wants to love you and then get at least 1/2 of it back. He looks in your eyes too - pretty cool. He wants to know you... if you know what I mean. He is the first one to the door when we walk in the foster room.

Adoption fee is a minimum $75 per cat donation to Feral Fixers . All cats are up to date on shots, microchipped, dewormed, fixed, and felv/fiv negative.

Discounted adoption fee if two kittens or cats are adopted together, $130 for a pair.

Brief screening questionaire and contract apply!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sousa, a Lombard Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Lombard, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Lombard.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lombard already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lombard breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lombard paves the way for another one to be saved.
