Here's what the humans have to say about me:
If you’ve been looking for an amazing rescue pup – look no further. Hachi (Ha–chee) is a gorgeous, friendly, playful, housebroken 1 year old neutered male Mountain Cur dog. He originally came to us from Kentucky where he was malnourished and full of parasites, but now he is full-grown at 42 pounds and in perfect health. Hachi is a social pup who has never met a human or dog that he didn’t want to be instant friends with. He is happiest when he is occupied mentally and physically with his owner. Hachi knows basic obedience commands and he is good both on and off leash, but he still needs a little more work with his manners – he still jumps up when he is excited and he chews when he is bored. He would do wonderful in a home where he could have a lot of exercise, play and affection with humans or other dogs. He has been living in a home with a senior-aged dog and three younger children for the last 5 months, but unfortunately the senior dog doesn’t share Hachi’s energy and she didn’t warm up to him, so the family wants Hachi to have a family where all members are as enthusiastic about him as he is about them. Hachi's adoption fee of $250 goes towards the cost of his veterinary care.
If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application, which can be found on our website at www.perfectpooches.org under the "Adoption Process" tab. All dogs are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm tested ( as appropriate), fecal tested, and microchipped.
