Grace's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Grace's Story...
Grace is a sweet, gentle, shy lady who came from Chicago Animal Control, where she was brought in as a stray and never reclaimed. We believe she is about 2-3 yrs old, weighs just under 6 lbs, and gets along with other dogs. She is doing well with her housetraining in her foster home. We are looking for a quiet patient home that will give Grace time to settle in and come out of her shell. And, a little trivia about her- she does a handstand on her front two legs when she pee pees- so hilarious. Grace's adoption fee of $250 does towards covering the cost of her vetting.

If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application, which can be found on our website at www.perfectpooches.org under the "Adoption Process" tab. All dogs are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm tested ( as appropriate), fecal tested, and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Grace, a Romeoville Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Romeoville, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Romeoville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Romeoville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Romeoville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Romeoville paves the way for another one to be saved.
