My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sally is currently our tiniest rescue puppy at 3.8 lbs (anticipated to be approximately 20 - 25 lbs when full grown)..but the love and sweetness that she puts out there is huge in its scope! Sally is just 8 weeks old and absolutely gorgeous with 1 sky-blue eye and one chocolate brown. Sally is so engaging... overjoyed at spending time with anyone who is kind and respectful...and once she's over that moment of initial shyness...she loves nothing more than being a full-time lap dog. She's already so excited to accompany her people on puppy-step walks, car rides and any activity that means they're together. Sally is so small now and very low-maintenance for a puppy that she's a natural to bring along almost anywhere to start her socialization process. This is so important for a young, super-friendly puppy to carry these qualities into their adulthood. Puppy socialization classes will bring this naturally engaging puppy to new heights of confidence and healthy curiosity about the world. It will also promote family bonding...once she bonds...she can be counted on for great behavior anywhere he goes and a desire to please her family that she loves so much. Sally has done so well with other gentle small dogs...she enjoys kind play...or just hanging out together in the sunshine would also make her very happy. Sally is searching for a committed and kind family that will love her unconditionally as she grows. Once she feels safe, she gives 100% to her relationships and will love her family deeply. We envision Sally with either a retired couple or individual who would choose a snuggly, cuddly dog as a full-time companion or she would love a family with gentle children who are present to play with, train and love a brand new puppy. Sally would fill this role perfectly...she would give her whole heart to please, and be in the company of her favorite people. Since Sally requires just a bit of exercise at her current small size, she would be perfect for those who choose a dog for their friendship and ease to bring along just about anywhere. As she grows, she'll enjoy hiking, long walks and serious playtime with her favorite humans and canines. She will be a great companion for vacations or long-distance visits as she loves meeting new people and greets them with a huge tail wag and a sloppy kiss. Sally's coat (with the most amazing markings we've ever seen) will be healthy and cotton-soft with a regiment of bathing/brushing and excellent nutrition,
The shelter in Kansas deemed Sally too young to spay at this point...Farfel's will be happy to cover costs of spaying and microchipping when she's a bit older and if one of our local rescue vets is used.

Sally will arrive on transport in Denver on 8/18. If interested in this adorable and sweet puppy, please fill out an application at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/ and submit to farfelsapps@gmail.com.
