Sidney's Story...
Sidney: lab/pointer mix; born approximately 7/4/14 will probably weigh about 50-60 lbs as an adult good with other dogs/people/kids Fee $200

"Feisty & fearless ... perky & precocious ... clever & curious ... these all describe little Sidney! She is outgoing & social and loves to meet new people, make friends and have adventures. She's never met a stranger! Because she's daring & inquisitive, she will 'boldly go where no man has gone before'; she also learns very quickly so will be quick to train. Sidney is a whole lot of fun and sure to keep you in stitches with her antics and mischievous ways! She's very demonstrative and gives the best kisses, tail wagging unrestrainedly all the while. It's impossible to be sad when she's around! Because she is so self-assured and decisive, she will probably want to be the 'queen bee' in her new home so won't do well if placed with a dominant female. If you'd like to meet sassy Sidney, please let is know! Her adoption fee is $200; she's spayed, microchipped & current on vaccinations."

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sidney, a Indianapolis Labrador Retriever/Pointer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Pointer for sale in Indianapolis, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Pointer puppy from a breeder in Indianapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Indianapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Indianapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Pointer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Indianapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
