Buffalo Bill's Story...
Buffalo Bill was found by Dogworks Rescue in a rural Ohio dog pound..He'd been there awhile, his time was up and he was at the top of a list to put to sleep to make room for other dogs......Many rural county dog pounds offer limited schedule to view dogs and not many people visiting....
VERY NICE DOG!!
We believe Buffalo Bill to be mostly Black Lab Retriever mixed with Boxer.. He is 1 1/2 yrs old approx. 48 lbs. House trained, crate trained and gets along with other dogs. Has been very submissive to puppies and loves to play with them...Needs work on leash walking and a few manners and commands...ALOT of potential here....We are still learning about Bill.....Adoption fee includes: exam, neuter, vaccine update, Heartworm check and G.I. de-wormer. Adoption fee $150. For application or questions, please visit www.DogworksOhio.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buffalo Bill, a Toledo Boxer/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Toledo, or seeking a Boxer/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Toledo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toledo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toledo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Boxer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toledo paves the way for another one to be saved.
