Here's what the humans have to say about me:

It is so heartbreaking to see a young, vibrant puppy that is so sad and scared, but that is what we're seeing with young Jeremy and his brothers. Jeremy is a 6 month old cocker spaniel/terrier puppy that was turned in with his two brothers. They are the product of having unspayed/unneutered pets in a home with owners that clearly didn't want a litter of puppies to care for. The puppies were not socialized at all and are quite shy and very shaken up and scared. Young Jeremy is usually the first to approach when you go into their run to visit with them, but he uses extreme caution and usually wets himself when you pet him. Once Jeremy is outside, he calms down quite a bit and inches closer and closer to you, finally putting his little head in your lap to find comfort. He does not yet know how to walk on a leash and is now practicing daily while wearing a harness. He is a smart little guy and he will learn quickly. It's clear that no one ever played with him and he has yet to show any interest in toys. He will certainly learn to have fun too, once he settles down. Jeremy would love a home with a patient family that will provide the love, care and training for him that he needs. He is an absolute angel that is so deserving of a fresh start in life. Jeremy will need a home with no small children under the age of 10, but would do fine with well behaved dogs.
