Fancy is a beautiful, happy and friendly, three-year-old, female, white pit bull terrier with adorable black markings. She has a big smile and is full of kisses and tail wags for everyone she meets. She was found running stray after having a recent litter. Fancy knows the command sit and is good with select male dogs in shelter play groups.
Fancy is the longest term resident of the canine adoption room at CACC and we don’t know why.

The Chicago Animal Care and Control shelter in Chicago has a number of wonderful dogs available for adoption. They all deserve fantastic homes and when they get adopted, more dogs caged in the other pavilions can be moved for the public to see and adopt.

All the dogs are neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped and heartworm-tested. CACC is at 2741 S. Western Avenue in Chicago and is open noon to 7:00 pm with an hour closure from 3:00 to 4:00.
