My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Julius, Rusty’s sidekick, is a little shier than his lion-like brother. Rescued at just 6 months (now 12), he can be a bit timid at first but will warm up quickly--particularly with the ladies! He’ll join you for a nap, a quiet reading moment or for a good movie and will take that opportunity to love you to pieces. He’ll become so enamored of the one-on-one attention that he’ll wriggle and writhe closer to you to get the best possible rubdown.

Like his brother, he is a fan of the laser pointer, and this handy toy has proven to be a great way to get him to engage more quickly. After that ice breaker you may just find yourself with a kitty who wants to be picked up for a cuddle or given some good strong pets to show him you feel just as strongly as he does.

Occasionally Julius has something to tell you and may follow you quietly while he shares his thoughts. Then, once he’s said his piece, he's likely to dart off for the next big event. A nap!

No stranger to crispy chicken treats, this guy will happily accept a few with his brother by his side. But more than anything, a safe place to retire to at the end of the day is what makes Julius happiest. Calm, loving attention fills his heart and makes him feel his best.

Check out Rusty, too!
