Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sassy would have a very interesting story to tell if he could talk. He had been living with a homeless man and his other dog in a car for quite some time. The other dog is elderly and not in good health so he was attacking Sassy who only wanted to snuggle & play. Then to make matters worse, the dad was diagnosed with cancer and he is not in good health.
Sassy is great with everyone he meets. He's very polite, confident and calm.
His foster parents said he LOVES women and really enjoys being nurtured. I am sure he was missing out on that and many other common comforts until now.
The best way to describe his look is Beagle facial features but a taller lean body like a very fit lab. His coloring has been described as a lightly toasted marshmallow.
He is missing one of his front toes because of a old injury that was not properly cared for and it resulted in a serious infection so they had to amputate the toe. It does not bother him, it's completely healed now.
He's around 5 years old, neutered, vaccinated, healthy.
He walks good on the leash and enjoys car rides.
House trained (doggy door access) and likes playing with other dogs but would be fine as a only dog.
