Blizzard's Story...
11/21/14: BLIZZARD HAS BEEN ADOPTED! Blizzard and her (3)sisters (also listed) were part of an "OOPS" litter. Their mom was a purebred chihuahua and dad, well he was a traveling man and we aren't sure what breed he was. However, the pups are tiny and look like they will remain small. They are currently only 6 weeks old so we will need to wait a couple of weeks before we can start getting them spayed and ready to join their new families. We just want to get them listed and see if we can start finding homes for these cuties! They are absolutely adorable (and at 6 weeks of age probably weigh about 2-3 pounds each) and will make great snugglers! Obviously, they are just babies so they will fit into any home and can be molded to be whatever type of dog you want them to be-they are ready to be loved and to learn! Their adoption fee will be $200 each and will cover their vetting and cost of care while with us. A deposit will hold the pup of your choice until they are ready to go home. If interested in any of these little girls, please send an adoption application and email your interest. You may also call us @ (352) 493-1255..please leave a message if no answer with the name of the pup that you are calling about. We will return all calls.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blizzard, a Chiefland Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Chiefland, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Chiefland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chiefland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chiefland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chiefland paves the way for another one to be saved.
