Here's what the humans have to say about me:
3-month-old Frankie was found abandoned at the tender age of 5 weeks on a country road in Lioni, Italy. A good Samaritan took Frankie into the home where he was vacationing, fed and cared for him and tried valiantly to find him a permanent residence. Alas, this kind stranger was unsuccessful, so he decided to bring Frankie back to the USA!
Frankie is affectionate and very playful, and loves to run after toys and jump (or chase) after anything tied to a string. He would love some companions that can play with him. Children, other young cats or an engaged and present adult would all be ideal. He gets along well with his current foster’s older cat, though because the resident kitty is 18, he isn’t really interested in playing.
Frankie is a big fan of the kitchen (he knows where the food is at!) so if you are someone who likes to cook or prepare food regularly, you may want to give Frankie his own snack and then distract him so that you can get back to business. Cuteness alert: When Frankie’s ready to go to sleep, he often suckles his foster’s fingers and sometimes his neck. This is likely a result of having been separated from his mother so early. It’s very comforting to Frankie, so we’d love it if his new companion could embrace this endearing habit.
Frankie’s foster has graciously offered to provide advice, tips and even cat-sitting to Frankie’s new family.
Ultimately, Frankie’s happiness stems from:
- Play time!
- Enjoying the great indoors with his family
- Sleeping with his family at night
- Engaging with his family during the day and night
Frankie already knows the love of a very gracious person and is ready to share his whole heart with his forever home. Wouldn’t you love to meet him?
