Rocky's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Rocky's Story...
Sweet Rocky was found abandoned in a barn with his sister Kona and thankfully they were found and taken to a shelter. We were contacted and took both of them into the rescue. Rocky was born at the end of June 2014 and this boy is so full of love and life. He would make the perfect hiking companion as he has lots of energy. Because of his energy levels, he would do best with a dog his size or larger. Rocky is eager to learn and eager to please. He is going to make a wonderful addition to some very lucky family. Rocky is neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, current on heartworm prevention (and comes with 2 months of heartworm prevention when adopted) and is microchipped. His adoption fee is $250.00. If you are interested in adopting Rocky please go to our website www.boxerbuttsandothermutts.org and fill out one of our adoption applications. Rocky is ready to find a home and a family to call his own

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocky, a Arden Boxer/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Arden, or seeking a Boxer/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Arden.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arden already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arden breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Boxer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arden paves the way for another one to be saved.
