Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Squeaks is a handsome, snugly, gentle and lovable, seven-year-old, male, front de-clawed, golden-eyed black and white mini-Maine Coon cat looking for a loving guardian.
Squeaks is wonderful with all the other cats in his foster home but tends to be submissive, so he gets picked on by more dominant cats. I don’t think he has ever met a dog. He may be shy for the first few weeks in a new situation, but his foster mom says Squeaks is a lap cat and a snuggle bug who loves to join you in bed once he knows you.
Squeaks needs a human who is home more often than not. He gets lonely if left alone for too many hours. He will hide when company comes over but eventually comes out. He loves to be brushed but doesn’t have much use for toys.
Sadly, his human mom passed away of bone cancer at the age of 56. She left Squeaks in the hands of a dear feline-loving friend to find a home for him.
To meet and possibly adopt this adorable cat, please contact Elaine at e.divita@sbcglobal.net or 312-391-6357. He is healthy, neutered, front de-clawed, de-wormed, up-to-date on vaccines, virus-tested negative, and micro-chipped. His adoption fee of $75 benefits rescued pets. He is being fostered near Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood.
