Luna's Story...
Luna came to us as a small kitten after being tossed into a dumpster. She was thrown so hard that it fractured her leg. We are not sure how long she laid there and suffered but what matters is that she was strong enough somehow to survive. By the time she was found and came to the rescue her leg had already started to heal on its own. We continued to monitor it by taking x-rays and it has totally healed. We call Luna our special kitty because she will always walk with a slight limp. Her leg is healed and there is no pain involved just a little limp but we say that makes her extra special. She loves to cuddle and is one sweet girl. She is estimated to be about 9 months old and is going to make a wonderful companion for some lucky family. She does well with dogs and other cats. Her adoption fee is 50.00 and this includes all her shots up to date, her spay, microchip and deworming. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Luna, a Arden Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Arden, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Arden.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arden already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arden breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arden paves the way for another one to be saved.
