Amanda Blake's Story...
Amanda Blake is a lovely tortoiseshell girl with a fluffy coat and pretty eyes. She has beautiful colors and so much love to share. She came to us declawed.

Amanda Blake was rescued about 6 years ago as ‘Kitty’ and adopted out to a nice woman who loved her and gave her a very special name. But Amanda Blake’s mom recently passed away and this pretty girl ended up at the pound again. She is a sweet girl who needs love and is willing to give love in return. But she will need some time to get past her sadness at losing her person and home. If only some kind soul will give her a chance she will open her heart to them. She does not do well with other cats but she seems okay with mellow dogs who leave her alone. She is best suited to a home without small children. She is probably about 8 years old.

She is in a foster home in Wasilla.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Amanda Blake, a Anchorage Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Anchorage, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Anchorage.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Anchorage already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Anchorage breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Anchorage paves the way for another one to be saved.
