Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lola is an extremely sweet, affectionate and easy-going eight or nine-year-old 50-pound, female Cattle Dog/Beagle-mix looking for a loving guardian.
She is beautifully trained and knows the commands sit, down, paw, and takes treats very gently. Lola is a wonderful couch potato of a dog who is perfectly housebroken and never needs a crate, although she has been crate-trained. She is a happy soul who walks around with her tail wagging and a smile on her beautiful face.
Lola is fine in an apartment, condo, or house … she’s not picky and in fact, she’s extremely quiet. She almost never barks.
Lola loves her walks and is fine in the car. She loves people of all ages including children. And, even though she’s a 50-pound girl, she thinks she’s a lap dog and if you sit on the floor with her, she’ll climb right into your lap and give you kisses.
A homebody, Lola is perfectly happy wherever her people are … in the house or in a fenced yard. She is not good off leash, and will tend to bolt if given the chance. She’s good in a home with dog-friendly cats and a bit pickier about her dog friends. She prefers dogs about her size or smaller. Larger dogs make her nervous. She’s probably best as the one and only dog in the home.
This nice girl is calm and relaxed; just an all-around wonderful companion and friend. She is healthy, spayed, de-wormed, up-to-date on vaccines and micro-chipped. Lola’s adoption fee of $125 benefits rescued dogs. To meet and possibly adopt her, please contact sheri@petraits.com or 773-777-2891. Lola is being fostered in Oak Park, Illinois.
