Reece is an incredibly sweet, quiet, playful and fun, two-year-old, 51-pound, female Shepherd/Shar Pei-mix looking for a loving guardian.

Reece is gentle and soft, snuggly and affectionate. She adores people of all ages and is full of kisses and tail wags. She knows the commands: sit, down, and paw and she takes treats extremely gently from your fingers.

She is also wonderful with other dogs. I tested her with one of my cats and while she thought they were fun, I think she might do okay in a home with dog-friendly cats.

She is perfectly housebroken, crate-trained and quiet in the home so she can live in a house with a yard, condo, town house or apartment. She wants nothing more than to snuggle up to you on the floor or on the couch … although she’s up for a game of fetch as well!

Her adoption fee of $300 benefits the rescued pets of Tails of Hope. She is healthy, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested, and on monthly heartworm preventative. This magnificent girl was given up in Gary, Indiana, after she had had a litter of puppies. She needed entropion eye surgery and is doing beautifully now that she can see! She is currently in Highland Park, Illinois.
