Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Beau is a handsome, 5/6 yr old, 83 lb male (neutered), traditional black & tan German Shepherd Dog.
He is housebroken, knows all his basic commands, walks good on a lead, heartworm negative and up-to-date on all vaccinations. Beau is a well balanced, easy going dog. He is the perfect companion GSD - smart, very people oriented, quickly forms a strong bond and wants nothing more than to be at his master’s side. Overall, he is in good physical condition with some mild dysplasia starting on his right hip (consistent with age & size).
Beau unfortunately has a partial ACL tear in his left knee. FOCCAS will pay the full cost of the surgery & post surgery care. Surgery & follow-ups will be done @ Countryside Animal Clinic. Proper post-op home care is critical to the recovery process for this surgery and all applicants will be carefully screened. We have a booklet that details what’s involved that we can send on request.
Beau is good with other dogs, but NO cats please !! Interested fosters or adopters can call Mike @ 352-201-8664 or send an email to info@FriendsofCCAS.com for additional info and an adoption or foster application. Mandatory home & Vet check, fenced yard preferred.
Adoption donation $120.
