Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Maxwell is a very friendly, happy and loving, six-year-old, 50-pound, male, Shar Pei looking for a loving guardian.
This boy is full of kisses and tail wags. He was the best friend of a 17-year-old girl. Sadly, when she went off to college, the family decided to give away her dog. He loves people of all ages - including children and is wonderful with other dogs.
Maxwell is housebroken and crate-trained. He’s an all around great dog hoping for a chance with a new family.
Maxwell’s adoption fee of $300 benefits the rescued pets of Tails of Hope. He is healthy, neutered, de-wormed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested, and on monthly heartworm preventative. He is currently staying at a boarding center in Glencoe, Illinois.
To meet and possibly adopt Maxwell, please fill in the adoption application at: http://tailsofhope.org/availabledogs.html and follow up by contacting tailsofhope@aol.com or 847-557-9554.
